Alvin Upfront Citizens Academy

The new year will bring a NEW program to the Alvin community. Alvin Upfront is Alvin’s inaugural Citizens Academy! Alvin Upfront is a 6-week course on City government operations and activities. Tour city facilities, discover how things get done at the local level and build relationships in an interactive and engaging way.

 

This course is excellent for those individuals who:

  • Want to learn about the operations of the City of Alvin
  • Want to engage with city employees and build relationships

  • Want to assume a leadership role within the city in the future

 

Classes will begin Monday, February 6th, 2017 and are held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. throughout the course. Classes are free and limited to 25 participants.
