The City of Alvin encourages citizen participation in municipal government and welcomes YOUR interest in serving on a city board or commission. The Mayor and City Council give a great deal of thought to the make up of each board and seeks to have a diversified and balanced group. Serving on a board or commission is an opportunity to "get involved" in the community and the operations of your local government. The City encourages anyone interested to apply for a position. A signed and completed Willingness to Serve Form must be submitted to the City Clerk's office for consideration. The City Clerk will notify all applicants in writing regarding the interview process.
