The Alvin City Council regular meetings begin at 7:00 PM on the first and third Thursday of each month. Special meetings are held as called. To sign up to address the City Council, the speaker may either send an e-mail to the City Clerk or can sign up in person on the appropriate form at least 10 minutes before the starting time of any meeting. If Council action on the item to be discussed is desired, the item must be included as a posted item on the agenda. Deadline for inclusion on an agenda is 8 days before the actual date of the meeting.
