Adult Appearance Dates: Every Tuesday of the month court begins at 9:00 a.m.
Juvenile Appearance Dates: On Wednesday the third week of every month court begins at 4:30 p.m.
Trials: On Wednesday the first and fifth week of every month at 9:00 a.m. and on Wednesday the third week of every month at 5:00 p.m.
The Municipal Court Judge, Donna Starkey, is only available during Court session times. If you wish to speak with the Judge concerning your case, you must appear in Court. When Judge Starkey is unable to preside over a case the Associate Judge will hear the case.
The Municipal Court Clerks are available at the Court office located on the first floor of City Hall and may be contacted by telephone at (281) 388-4250. The clerks are available to answer questions that you have in reference to your citation or arrest. However, Court days are busy and will limit the time available to assist you.
NOTE: The Municipal Court Staff does not answer legal questions of any nature. The Clerks are allowed to explain Court proceedings and procedures only. If you need legal advice, please contact a lawyer.
Photo Identification Required - When you appear in court or at the clerk’s office, you will be required to present your valid driver’s license. If you do not have a driver’s license, you must present some form of photo identification. This procedure is designed to prevent identify fraud and insure proper reporting to the Department of Public Safety of criminal convictions that may impact your driving privileges.
Please do not appear the same day you received the citation: Allow ten (10) days from the violation date before contacting the Court.
