The Public Services Department is responsible for maintaining the City's Infrastructure, excluding parks and buildings. They provide customer service assistance to citizens for water, sewer, streets & drainage issues. If you are a new homeowner and resident to Alvin, and need to have water and sewer service, please see the Utility Billing page or call 281.388.4260 and they will provide you with the information needed. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

After Hours Emergencies and Problems - City of Alvin work hours are from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. Should a citizen experience a problem after hours, on holidays or weekends, we recommend that you contact the Alvin Police Department at 388-4370 and explain your problem. The appropriate on-call employee will then be paged to respond and resolve the problem if possible. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
