Monthly Curbside Collection of Brush & Heavy Trash - A maximum of 6 cubic yards (approximately the size of a Volkswagen) will be picked up once a month per household. Heavy trash items are defined as:
- Junk or trash generated by ordinary maintenance of a household, but too large for container.
- Appliances (Freon removed and properly tagged by licensed professional).
- Drained hot water heaters, furniture, carpet.
- Brush does not have to be cut, bundled or tied, but must be separated from heavy trash.
- If Monday is a holiday, the pickup day will be the Saturday before the holiday.
The once a month residential heavy trash pickup needs to be set out by 7:00 am on the appropriate Monday, according to your address.
IESI will continue to pick up brush that is piled at the curb, uncut and is
more than 6 cubic yards twice per month for a
fee of $11.12 per cubic yard. Prior to collection of any such brush, IESI will affix a bright neon tag onto the pile. The resident must contact IESI to remove the brush for the appropriate fee or remove the brush within two weeks of placement of the tag.
