Complaints

Complaint Resolution, Report, Notify, ResolveThe Alvin Police Department takes all complaints seriously and will investigate all complaints of misconduct. 

All major complaints of misconduct are investigated by our Office of Professional Standards. Complaints that are minor in nature will generally be investigated by the immediate supervisor of the accused employee. Complaints which may result in some sort of sanction against the Officer must be in writing and signed as required by Chapter 614, subchapter B, of the Texas Government Code.
