Planning Commission

Article VIII of the Charter provides for a Planning Commission. The Commission shall consist of not less than five nor more than eleven members who shall be residents of the City of Alvin. The members shall be appointed for a three-year term with one-third to be appointed each year on a continuing basis. The duties are set out in the Charter.

The Planning Commission meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at the Public Services Facility conference room located at 1100 W. Hwy 6, in Alvin.
