Winter Weather Information

2/18/21 @ 4:00 p.m.

Water - Residents should have water and pressure should be back close to normal.  If you have no water at this time, please report to 281 388 4370 to have City crews come out and check the water lines in the area.

The City is NOT shutting off the water.  Currently, the system is taxed as a result of several water leaks throughout the City.  This is causing water pressure levels to be reduced. Those who have full water pressure are asked to conserve water as much as possible until further notice.

There is NOT A WATER BOIL notice in place at this time.  If that scenario changes, it will be communicated through the City's social media accounts, emergency alert system, and website www.alvin-tx.gov.

If you have debris from a busted pipe or wet drywall in your home, you are asked to bag it and place it next to your cart. Each bag should not weigh more than 40 pounds. For larger piles please place out on your bulk pick up day.

A few garbage routes were unable to be collected on Thursday, February 18th because the routes were very heavy.  These routes will be collected first thing on Friday morning February 19th.

Electricity - TNMP is working hard to get power restored.  There are currently 114 homes without power.  If you do not have power, please contact TNMP at 1-888-866-7456 to report outage.  Residents are encouraged to check your home breaker switch to make sure your power has not been restored.
